Pets

As the plagiarism/copy stuff seemed to tough a topic for most of my readers I have decided to keep it a bit lighter from now on (unless I get some though interesting topics to write about that is). So, todays posts it about Pets!

I could have written about football (soccer for the uneducated) and say that Australia pulled out a rabbit of the worn out old green and gold hat, but that would only lead me to writing about how Sweden managed a magnificent draw against 10 men Trinidad and Tobago (T&T). Now 0 - 0 against T&T is a result to be proud of! It set's up us beautifully for the game against Paraguay, they will be believing that we suck and cannot score even if they would go and have a coffee break (or fika as we would say) but Oh are they misstaken! Oh, forgot, I'm writing about pets, not football.. Rosicky seem like a brilliant addition to the squad for the Arsenal though.. eh, ok, pets!

"Are you a cat or a dog person?" is a question that people often ask's, I generally try to reply whatever I think would benefit me in the specific situation when the question is being asked, but less devious people than me may actually have an oppinion in this case and may take it seriously. So, here's a little something for you dog lovers out there..

What is generally a reason for having a dog? (except them being rather stupid and being very happy every time you get home) Generally it would be that they can protect you, if a burglar comes in they will bark and hence save your life. Cat's as we all know do no such things, unless they want to be patted and walks around the burglars legs, tripping the poor burglar. But! What would your dog do if a Bear enters your backyard? He would most probably make some whingeing noises, roll over and say "Bite me, I'm not threat to you Oh great master" a little cat on the other hand..... He would get pissed (pardon my language) off and thinking "Hey, who does this bear thing think it is? Coming into my turf!" and then chase the poor bear up into a tree, no only once but twice! And sit there and guard the bear he would as well.. Don't believe me? Take a look at the picture (you'll need to enlarge it a bit) and click on this link.

So, currently the score is:
Cat 1 - Dog 0

Btw, what do you like my newest addition to my blog? A random joke just for you (instead of an add for young campbell... got to many emails)

Mmm - a cat person for sure! Dogs are ok - but dopey. Cats have a mind of their own and are very intelligent.

Are tigers classed as cats?

Tigers are classified as cats, sort of, pretty large cats, so are panthers and pumas and leopards and stuff.

How do you know there's no bear problem in Brisbane? Just because you haven't seen any bears in your backyard yet... Just you wait and see!

cats are so clever they can hide in a backyard undiscovered for weeks...

Puma? what about the Chupacabra? is that classed as a cat or a dog?

Mattias said...

Cat's hide in the backyard for weeks to make their owners sad, and as part of a diet...

What is a chupacabra?

A CatDog would be the ideal.. it despises you, but let's you pat it when it wants to. And it happily runs infront of cars (and rolls over on it back when a drop bear drops into the back yard)

Binka wasn't hiding in our yard for weeks. She was trapped somewhere, unable to escape. Then she cleverly dug a hole with her little paws, scratching and scratching until she finally saw daylight. "Free at last" she cried! And then she trotted home.

Dictionary.com says

Main Entry: chupacabra
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: a purported creature resembling a gargoyle, said to exist in parts of Mexico and on Puerto Rico; also called Jersey Devil
Etymology: Spanish `goat-sucker', from its attacks and draining the blood of the victims

"Hey kids, look what daddy got."

"Dad, can I have a pat?"

neither photo is particularly endearing...

Argh! That last photo Matt is disturbing!!

Now about this cat/dog thing, I think you guys are missing some important points:
* Dogs aid fitness through walking/running
* Dogs are great entertainment
* Dogs aren't moody like cats
* Dogs ARE intelligent (dependent upon breed)
* Dogs can be trained how to behave * Dogs can produce an income stream through performing tricks at animal shows (And they just look georgeous wearing little pick bows!)
* Dogs love you unconditionally, so easy to forgive and forget; they are, afterall, man's best friend.

Hey Matt, I don't think those two photos are of the same thing...

The first one is the cat-dog thing, and i figure the other one meets the dictionary.com definition. yeah it is a bit disturbing. not sure why anyone would want a chupacabra... but that's what Google Images gave me!

Anyway dogs smell. Especially wet ones. So do cats I guess.

Anyone know what a chupacabra smells like?

Cats 1 - Dogs 6 - Chupacabras 1?

Matt it looks like the first photo is alleged victim of the Chupacabra and the second is an artist depiction of what it would look like.

Oh, dogs are up 7-2 (or is it 6-1?, did the Chupacabra suck a point from each?)Steve claims they look like kangaroos, but blood sucking ones? Now the picture Matt put up didn't look much like a kangaroo.. It looks lika a vampire though, so could be right. Although I somehow picture it like a kangaroo with an anteaters head...

Well Mattias, I think the score should be cats 2 - dogs 1 unless Sara has a multiple personality disorder and thinks she is 7 different people who all like dogs..

I spose stranger things have happened.. (the chupacabra)

By the way what is a "pick bow"?

Anyhow i still want a tiger over both!!.

It's is not a voting system. Basically if you could say 5 things where cat's beat dogs, cat's would get 5 points.

Oh so now the rules come in... *rolls eyes*
